Code of Conduct

The Simply Country Music Festival is a place for the community to experience country living as we know it. It is intended to be a celebration of stewardship of agriculture, American patriotism, family fun, and appreciation for good country music!

At the Ranch, we want our community to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. Accordingly, all attendees are expected to show respect and courtesy to other attendees and the location throughout the event.

To make clear what is expected, all organisers, attendees, and speakers, at this event are required to conform to the following Code of Conduct. Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event.

Our Standards

The Simply Country Music Festival is dedicated to providing a positive festival experience for everyone.

Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment include:

Being kind to others

Examples of unacceptable behavior by participants include:

Harassment of conference participants in any form

Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following

Violent threats or language directed against another person

Sexual language and imagery in any venue, including talks, Insults or put downs

Unwelcome physical contact

Sustained disruption of talks or other events

Procedure for Handling Incidents

Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately.

If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, event organisers retain the right to take any actions to keep the event a welcoming environment for all participants. This includes warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund.

Event organisers may take action to address anything designed to, or with the clear impact of, disrupting the event or making the environment hostile for any participants. We expect participants to follow these rules at all event venues and event-related social activities.

What is the best time to arrive?

Gates open at 11:00am for festival fun! Games, farm animals, food, craft vendors, pumpkin launching, etc.

Saloon opens at 4:00pm, grab your VIP table (additional purchase), or grab your drinks and grab your spot at the stage. Our alcohol vendors are marvelous, Angel Bernhardt + Biercraft Brewery.

Music starts at 5:30pm- until about 10:00pm. It is general admission so come early and grab your favorite place to hang in front of the stage.

Is there an age limit?

The Simply Country Ranch is a family friendly event center, all ages are welcome. Contracted artists may use language that may be older for ears, but for the most part, good ole fashion family fun to experience the country and wonderful music to bring us together!

Where do I need to park? 

Upon arriving to the Ranch, (7838 Krebs Lake Rd. McAlester,OK 74501) you'll enter the event when you see "open" flags + a vintage red . dump truck that will welcome you into the gates! Follow the guides back to the parking, where there is an open field to park. If you purchased VIP parking, please tell the parking attendees and they will assist you in finding your spot. If you purchased a VIP tailgating spot, you get to park NEAR the stage, please tell the parking assist and they will escort you.

Is there somewhere I can sit?

You CAN bring chairs, sit at the food court tables, or purchase a VIP table in the Saloon.

Can I bring my own food?

Unfortunately, no outside food or drink is allowed. We have the best vendors who traveled a great deal to be with you all! Liquor, craft beer, and a variety of food. Please support small businesses if you choose to eat and drink.

Are there restrooms?

Yes.

Will there be merchandise?

Yes! Part of being a festival goer is rememberance, right?! We will have exclusive SC music Festival shirts that are limited supply.

The barn boutique is filled with our sign company called, Simply Stained Shop filled with all the farmhouse decor.

We have a variety of craft vendors, please take a look at their small business as they have traveled far and wide :)

Are pets allowed?

Not at this time. We do have farm animals on our location. If you have a serivce animal with the proper identification, of course that is allowed!

Can I volunteer?

Carlton Landing is a great location to make it a weekend stay. A rental called, "crews cottage," click to book.

We have a ranch to run.

This means, when the music is over, it's time to call it a night... luckily Saturday + Sunday you can come back to the ranch for another day of festival fun.

What payment type can I use at the festival?

It will depend on the specific vendors, but majority are cash or credit card.
